Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor covered David Bowie's classic song "Moonage Daydream" during a solo show in California last weekend.

"Moonage Daydream" featured on the late artist's 1972 album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.

Taylor performed several covers at the show in Garden Grove, California, on Sunday, May 19, including songs by Prince, The Beatles and INXS.

Slipknot's next album, We Are Not Your Kind, is set for release on August 9. Last week, Taylor and his bandmates revealed their latest set of on-stage masks in the video for their single "Unsainted."

Speaking to Heavy Metal Hill last week, Taylor said, "The crazy thing I have noticed over the last couple years I have seen a shift in the way people look at me."

"I thought having an opinion was something that was cool, and now I'm becoming a meme," he added. "I feel everyone is starting to turn on me, so I am using that to my advantage."
