Morgan Wallen was forced to cancel his shows scheduled for last weekend due to vocal strain.

Wallen announced that his show at the Clarksburg Amphitheater in Clarksburg, West Virginia, scheduled for Saturday, and a performance at the 2019 Taste of Country Music Festival at Hunter Mountain in upstate New York that was set for Sunday, were canceled.

The country music star said on social media that he took the CMA Fest stage last week, got ran down and is "now left with no voice whatsoever."

Wallen said that despite trying a steroid shot, there was no improvement in his voice.

It "breaks my heart to cancel a show because I never have. You guys work very hard to pay money to come see us play, and I'll do everything I can to get back soon. Please know how sorry I am," he said on Twitter.
