Royal KPN CEO Maximo Ibarra Resigns - Quick Facts

Royal KPN (KKPNY.PK,KPN) said CEO Maximo Ibarra will end his contract with the company, effective 30 September 2019. The CEO resignation is due to family reasons and is not related to the recent network outage.

Maximo Ibarra, CEO, said: "I have been with KPN since 2017, and appointed CEO in 2018. I regret the timing, but family reasons gave me no choice. I will dedicate myself the coming months to secure a seamless transfer to my successor."

The Supervisory Board of Royal KPN is in the process of identifying the successor to Maximo.

Pizza Hut has partnered with Cheez-It to launch a new item to its menu - the Stuffed Cheez-It Pizza. The pizza chain, a subsidiary of Yum! Brands, said that the new item combines Pizza Hut pizza and the Cheez-It cheese snack. Stuffed Cheez-It Pizza will be available on Pizza Hut menus nationwide for a limited-time. Humanscale Corp. recalled about 24,900 units of QuickStand Lite workstations for concerns of injury hazard. These include about 2,200 units sold in Canada. The recalled workstation's arm can break and cause the workstation to fall, posing a risk of injury. The company has already received 52 reports of the arm breaking, including 12 reports of minor injuries.
