The Dixie Chicks' Natalie Maines posted a video on Instagram showing herself and her bandmates, Emily Strayer and Martie Maguire, taking turns to announce, "Dixie Chicks. Album. Coming."
The video also has a surprise guest appearance by producer and musician Jack Antonoff, who adds, "Someday." Maines included the hashtag #dcx2019 on the post.
Since last year, the Dixie Chicks have been teasing fans with hints of a new album.
Maines has posted pictures and videos of herself, Strayer and Maguire in a studio and also teased Antonoff's involvement in their project last July, posting a video of him in the studio playing a fiddle.
The album is not expected to be their only project in the near future, with Taylor Swift fans speculating that her upcoming album, Lover, might include a collaboration with the Dixie Chicks.
