EBay Crash Sale On July 15 - Quick Facts

eBay Inc. (EBAY) said it will host a Crash Sale on July 15 for customers around the world. On July 15, eBay will provide deals on top brands, including LG, Apple, Samsung, KitchenAid, Garmin. eBay will offer too-good-to-be-true deals that will drop if Amazon crashes on the day.

eBay's Crash sale is part of a series of events extending over a three-week period starting from July 1. During the first week of the July event, the company will offer savings on summer essentials and appliances. During the next two weeks (July 8-22), eBay will offer new deals every day, on tech, smart home devices and home appliances.

United Parcel Service Inc. agreed to pay $8.4 million to the United States to settle allegations that it overcharged federal agencies for package delivery services, the U.S. Justice Department said. Under a General Services Administration or GSA contract, UPS was required to provide GSA with certain lower prices for its services. The United Auto Workers union on Sunday called for a strike at General Motors at midnight after both the parties failed to reach a tentative deal before a Saturday deadline. The last time the union declared a strike at GM was in 2007. General Motors has detailed its most recent offer, including 5,400 jobs and $7 billion in investment at its US plants.
