Xiaomi's New Mi Smart Band 4 Sales Crosses 1 Million In 8 Days


Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has announced that its recently launched Mi Band 4 crossed 1 million units sales in just eight days.

Xiaomi's Director of Product Management Donovan Sung tweeted this news as he thanked Mi fans for the achievement.

"Sharing some great news with our global Mi Fans. Our #MiSmartBand4 global shipment volumes crossed 1M units after just 8 days. This is the fastest we've reached this milestone in the history of #MiBand. Thank you to all our Mi Fans!" Sung tweeted.

The fourth generation Mi band was launched in the company's home market on June 16 with an affordable price tag. Mi Band 4 is expected to be shipped to the rest of the world from June 26.

According to GsmArena, Xiaomi has reported that there were over 5,000 shipments per hour at one point, making it the fastest-shipping wearable by the company ever.

The smart wearable features an AMOLED display with resolution of 120X240 and a 2.5D glass protection. The device is water resistance and has inbuilt physical activities tracker to track activities such as cycling, swimming, etc. It also has a built-in microphone to enable voice commands and a six-axis accelerometer. The device also boasts of a 15-20 day battery life.
