Chick-fil-A To Give Free Entree To Celebrate Cow Appreciation Day

Chick-fil-A is giving away free food on Tuesday, July 9, to commemorate Cow Appreciation Day 2019.

In order to grab a free entree, a customer has to dress in "cow attire," which can include a full costume or simply a cow-themed accessory. Entree options include the Egg White Grill or classic Chicken Biscuit during breakfast hours, or the Original Chicken Sandwich or Grilled Nuggets during lunch and dinner hours. Children can receive a free breakfast entrée during breakfast hours or a free Kid's Meal during lunch and dinner hours for dressing in a cow costume.

The offer will be available between opening and 7 p.m. More than 2,400 Chick-fil-A restaurants are participating in this promotional campaign.

"Break out your spots and cow bells. We're celebrating our favorite bovines the best way we know how: free chicken," the company says in its website.

This is the 15th year in a row that Chick-fil-A has run the promotion. The chain gave away nearly 1.95 million free entree to cow-dressed customers last year, according to the company.

"We are excited to celebrate the 15th annual Cow Appreciation Day in our restaurants across the country," said Jon Bridges, Chick-fil-A's senior vice president and chief marketing officer. "We are grateful for our customers' enthusiasm toward this fun annual tradition."
