WPP Merges Business Entities

Advertising giant WPP plc (WPP.L,WPPGY) said Monday that it has merged a number of its business entities to simplify the company.

Businesses currently reported within public relations & public affairs, and brand consulting, health & wellness and specialist communications, has been merged with entities within advertising & media investment management or AMIM.

The businesses included Wunderman, VML, Ogilvy PR and OgilvyOne.

In addition,WPP said its US healthcare companies had also been re-aligned with agency partners within AMIM, and Burson Marsteller and Cohn & Wolfe merged to form Burson Cohn & Wolfe.

The company noted that the change only affects the business sector reporting structure of the results. But there is no change to the Group-level financial statements or the geographical segmentation.

Dunkin' Brands Group said it is rolling out the Beyond Sausage Sandwich to more than 9,000 restaurants nationwide, starting November 6. The sandwich features a plant-based sausage patty from alternative meat maker Beyond Meat. Beyond Meat's breakfast sausage patty is made with plant-based protein and a mix of spices crafted specifically for Dunkin'. The aircraft maker said it especially regrets the difficulties that the release of the messages presented for the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration or FAA. Boeing said Sunday that it had informed the Federal Aviation Administration and international regulators on multiple occasions about the expanded role of the flight-control software in 737 MAX, which was linked to two fatal crashes that killed 346 people.
