Accused Taylor Swift Stalker Won't Be Charged

Last week, the Wakefield attorney general's office dismissed a case against David Page Liddle, who was recently accused of attempting to break into pop superstar Taylor Swift's Rhode Island mansion.

"Based on our review of the evidence and applicable law, we've declined to pursue filing charges against the defendant at this particular time," a spokesperson said on behalf of the attorney general's office in an official statement.

Caught carrying a variety of burglary tools, including nearly 30 lock picks, a crowbar, a window rake and rubber gloves, 32-year-old Liddle was arrested in July of this year.

Swift's protective services detail has shared that he has a history with them, allegedly having frequently stalked the singer in the past.
