Shortly after announcing that he was canceling the rest of his Club Luck Tour dates due to health concerns, Willie Nelson has revealed that he will be back on the road earlier than expected.

"Willie is resting and feeling better. The tour will resume on September 6 in Gilford, NH," said a note on Nelson's Facebook page, which thanked "all the fans for the continued support."

The 86-year-old singer, a lifelong pot-smoker, had said late Wednesday on social media, "To my fans, I'm sorry to cancel my tour, but I have a breathing problem that I need to have my doctor check out."

As per the schedule, the country music legend still has 30 dates to perform on an extensive tour, which will run up to November 29.

The tour is in support of his most recent album, Ride Me Back Home.
