Drake Earns Ninth No. 1 On Billboard 200 With 'Care Package'

Drake has earned his ninth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 Chart with the help of his new compilation album Care Package.

Care Package hit No. 1 spot on the chart after it earned 109,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending August 8, Billboard reports. Of that sum, 16,000 were in album sales.

Care Package, the first compilation album by the Canadian rapper, was released on August 2 by OVO Sound.

The compilation consists of songs released between 2010 and 2016 that were initially unavailable for purchase or commercial streaming.

The album features guest appearances from J. Cole, Rick Ross, and James Fauntleroy and additional vocals by Sampha and Beyoncé.

Drake's 9 No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 ties him with Garth Brooks, Eminem, Madonna, and The Rolling Stones on the all-time albums list.

He is still behind The Beatles (19), Jay-Z (14), Bruce Springsteen (11), Barbra Streisand (11), and Elvis Presley (10).
