Presidio To Be Acquired By BC Partners; Deal Valued At Approx. $2.1 Bln

Presidio, Inc. (PSDO), a North American IT solutions provider, has agreed to be acquired by funds advised by BC Partners, in a deal valued at approx. $2.1 billion, including net debt. Presidio stockholders will receive $16.00 in cash for each share.

Presidio expects the complete the transaction in the fourth quarter of 2019. Upon completion, Presidio will become a privately held company.

AP VIII Aegis Holdings, which owns approximately 42% of the outstanding shares of Presidio, has agreed to support the merger.

The European Commission said Friday that it has signed a deal with Sanofi and GlaxoSmithKline to secure up to 300 million doses of their potential COVID-19 vaccine. Acella Pharmaceuticals recalled certain lots of hypothyroidism medication NP Thyroid in the form of tablets due to super potency, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said in a statement.
