Chuck Berry Praised By Rock Legends In Trailer For New Documentary

A new trailer for an upcoming documentary about late rock 'n' roll legend Chuck Berry was released online. Several rock legends praise Berry in the trailer.

Chuck Berry, a docu-film directed and produced by Jon Brewer, is set to premiere at the Nashville Film Festival on October 4.

"Chuck Berry was Chuck Berry. The definition of Chuck Berry is: Chuck Berry," said KISS' Gene Simmons.

"He could tell you a story in three minutes," Alice Cooper said, referring to Berry's talent for song-writing.

Berry "was a storyteller. He brought the words," according to Steven Van Zandt.

He was the most important guitarist in rock history, in the opinion of George Thorogood.

Berry "turned the guitar into a percussive instrument," said Nile Rodgers.

The film also features an interview with Berry's widow Themetta Suggs.
