Rob Zombie was recently reported to have "grabbed" and "yanked" on a female fan's hair at his show at the Budweiser Gardens in London, Ontario, Canada by the tabloid news website TMZ.

"Rob Zombie Grabs Woman By Hair, Shoves Her During Concert," said the headline of the TMZ article.

The piece resulted in a wave of backlash towards the website, as various musicians have spoken out against the attention-grabbing and controversial headline, accusing its writers of being biased against male singers.

"If this was a female artist you f*cking tw*t monkeys would have a whole different headline. ... You pricks are exactly what's wrong with media. Here's a headline 'Rob Zombie gets assaulted by female fan... reacts,'" suggested Shinedown guitarist Zach Meyers.

Zombie was forced to push the "overzealous" fan back towards the teeming crowd when she reached across a security barricade to grab his t-shirt as he walking down an aisle.

"TMZs framing of this is crap," said All That Remains singer, Phil Labonte.

Meanwhile, Zombie, the founding member of the heavy metal band, White Zombie, is wrapping up his "Twins Of Evil" tour alongside Marilyn Manson.
