Chemring Says FY Current Expectations Remain Unchanged

Aerospace company Chemring Group plc (CHG.L) Wednesday, in its update for the period to 10 September 2019, said its trading during the period progressed as planned, and that it expects its current expectations for the year to remain unchanged.

During the period, the Group's Sensors and Information sector witnessed continued strong performance, while performance in Countermeasures and Energetics sector was in line with its expectations.

In addition, the Group said a process to exit its one remaining commoditised energetics business in Florida is ongoing and that it will provide further updates as and when required.

Sears Holdings recalled about 700 units of Kenmore Elite microwave ovens for possible electrical burn hazard, a statement by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said. The company said the incorrect wiring of the microwave oven causes its exterior to reach temperatures exceeding 183 degrees fahrenheit that could result in a burn hazard to the user. Mystery Ranch Ltd. is recalling about 500 holsters for semi-automatic handguns due to faulty retention straps. The company noted that if the retention strap disconnects from the holster, the handgun could fall and unexpectedly discharge, posing a serious injury risk to consumers. The recall involves the Mystery Ranch Quick Draw Side Arm Holsters, which are semi-auto holsters.
