Mitie Reports Extension Of Its Significant Contract With Lloyds - Quick Facts

Mitie Group plc (MTO.L) said the Group has been awarded an extension to the contract to provide integrated facilities management services to Lloyds Banking Group (LBG). The Group has been delivering IFM services to Lloyds Banking since 2012. The extended contract runs through to the end of 2024.

The Group expects the extended contract to generate revenues of approximately 170 million pounds per annum. The Group noted that the extension of the contract had been factored into guidance on revenue growth and operating profit in fiscal 19/20.

Ride hailing company Uber Technologies Inc. is cutting 600 jobs in India amid the impact of continuing coronavirus-related lockdown across the country, reports said citing Uber India and South Asia President Pradeep Parameswaran. The affected employees include full-time workers in driver and rider support, as well as other functions, and represent around 25 percen of its workforce in the country. Conagra Brands, Inc. is recalling approximately 276,872 pounds of not ready-to-eat chicken and turkey bowl products, citing the presence of extraneous materials specifically small rocks, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service or FSIS announced in a statement. The latest recall is an expansion to the Russellville, Arkansas-based company's earlier recall in April. The German government has approved a 9 billion euros rescue package for Deutsche Lufthansa AG (DLAKF, DLAKY), which is the largest German corporate rescue package since the coronavirus crisis struck. The airline has also agreed to the rescue deal.
