Tapestry To Grow Brands In China With Retail Partnership With Alibaba's Tmall

Tapestry, Inc. (TPR) announced a new step in the company's ChinaNext digital innovation agenda with the strategic partnership with Alibaba's Tmall, a B2C ecommerce platform. Tapestry will feature in the Flagship Store 2.0 of Tmall, beginning later this month. Also, the Coach, Kate Spade and Stuart Weitzman brands will have flagship stores on Tmall Luxury Pavilion.

Jide Zeitlin, CEO of Tapestry, said, "Tmall is at the forefront of the fast-paced digital eco-system in China. We look forward to growing our brands in China with this important new retail partnership, and are excited to launch our brand flagships on Tmall's newest platform."
