Total Closes Acquisition Of Anadarko's Stake In Mozambique LNG

Total SA (TTA.L,TTFNF.PK,TOT) said it closed the acquisition of Anadarko's 26.5% operated interest in the Mozambique LNG project for a purchase price of $3.9 billion.

The closing comes after Total reached a binding agreement with Occidental on May 3, 2019, to acquire Anadarko's assets in Africa and signed the subsequent Purchase and Sale Agreement on August 3, 2019.

Total operates Mozambique LNG with a 26.5% participating interest alongside ENH Rovuma Área Um, S.A. (15%), Mitsui E&P Mozambique Area1 Ltd. (20%), ONGC Videsh Ltd. (10%), Beas Rovuma Energy Mozambique Limited (10%), BPRL Ventures Mozambique B.V. (10%), and PTTEP Mozambique Area 1 Limited (8.5%).

A new study showed that foot traffic at Starbucks stores declined after the coffee giant changed to an 'open bathroom' policy. According to the study, store attendance per month at Starbuck stores declined 6.8 percent, relative to nearby restaurants and cafes, after the company made changes to its bathroom policy. In May 2018, Starbucks announced a new bathroom policy. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved the first contact lens developed for slowing the progression of myopia or nearsightedness in children between the ages 8 and 12 years at the initiation of treatment. This could also help in ultimately reducing risk of developing other eye problems. The regulator granted approval for CooperVision Inc.'s MiSight contact lens. Amazon plans to more than double its corporate workforce in Las Vegas by creating 125 additional jobs in the city.
