Wizz Air September Passengers Up 20.3%

Wizz Air Holdings Plc (WIZZ.L) said its booked passengers for September 2019 were up 20.3% year-on-year to 3.82 million. Capacity (seats) rose 19.7% to 4.04 million. Load Factor was 94.5%, an increase of 0.5 percentage points.

For the month of September, Revenue Passenger Kilometres increased 22.5%, while Available Seat Kilometres were up 21.6%.

Wizz Air said it continuously operates at the lowest CO2 emissions per passenger/km amongst all competitor airlines. At 56.9 grams, CO2 emissions in grams per passenger/km for the month of September were 3.6% lower than in the same month last year.
