In an unexpected and sweet ending to a short-lived feud between singer-songwriter and pianist Fiona Apple and "Old Town Road" hitmaker Lil' Nas X, Apple has accepted Lil Nas' request to collaborate on music for his album.

In a recent interview with Vulture, Apple teased Lil Nas about using her 2012 song, "Every Single Night," on the "Kim Jong" track from his Nasarati mixtape, saying, "where's my money, you cute little guy? Where's my money?"

She later clarified that she only meant to be "cute & playful," after which Lil Nas took to Twitter to suggest that the two should get together to produce something new.

"Me & fiona apple should do something together for my album," he tweeted.

Apple, whose friend alerted her about Nas' tweet, responded with a short video in which she heartily accepts the offer and says that she "would love that" and that she'd be in touch.
