Ferrexpo Q3 Pellet Production Sequentially Declines; Cuts FY Production View

Ferrexpo plc (FXPO.L) reported that its total pellet production for the third-quarter of 2019 declined 9.8% to 2.54 million tonnes from 2.81 million tonnes in the second-quarter of 2019.

Total pellet production for the nine-month of 2019 grew 1.7% from the prior year.

The company said its full year production will likely be in the range of 10.4 million tonnes to 10.6 million tonnes compared to the previous guidance of 10.6 million tonnes, citing the current market environment.

The National Labor Relations Board ruled in favor of McDonald's in a long-running case filed by workers who accused the fast-food giant of retaliation after they tried to unionize. The lawsuit, filed by 20 employees against McDonald's and some of its franchise operators in 2015. It will be available at all major national retailers beginning in April next year.
