The Record Store Day Black Friday event this year, to take place on November 29, will see a collection of 177 new releases, spanning all genres and generations.

Most of the collections are vinyl only, but there will be some collections on CDs, cassettes or books as well. Nearly half of the collections in the lineup came out for the RSD event in April.

Among the prominent collections are, Paul McCartney's "Home Tonight"/"In a Hurry," Cardi B's Gangsta Bitch Music Vol. 1 mixtape, Lizzo's Coconut Oil EP, Paul Westerberg's Grandpaboy and Tenacious D's "Don't Blow It / Kage."

Record Store Day ambassadors Pearl Jam are dropping the first-ever vinyl release of their MTV Unplugged set.

Robert Rodriguez's Desperado and the Wachowskis' Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions will also get exclusive pressings.

"Traditionally, Black Friday was about super-cheap prices on mass-produced goods and primarily took place in mails and big box stores. In some places, that's what this is still about," Record Store Day said in an announcement on its website.

RSD added, "Everything you find at a record store would be a great gift for someone, so being part of that holiday shopping season, and the biggest shopping day of the year, makes sense to us."

The limited edition records will be available at independent record stores starting on November 29. The full list of releases and artwork are available on the Record Store Day website.
