Paramount Pictures has reportedly teamed up with upstart producer-financier Sister and Bohemian Rhapsody producer Graham King to make a biopic on the Bee Gees.

According to Deadline, Paramount has purchased the life rights from the Bee Gees estate on behalf of King and will be able to use their classic songs in the movie.

The Bee Gees were a pop music group formed in 1958. Their lineup consisted of brothers Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb.

The trio were especially successful as a pop music act in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and later as prominent performers of the disco music era in the mid-to-late 1970. The band has sold more than 220 million records.

Barry Gibb is the only surviving Bee Gees member, while Maurice Gibb died in 2003 and Robin Gibb passed away in 2012.
