EDF Group 9-month Sales Rise; Confirms FY19, FY20 Guidance

French electric utility EDF (EDFEF.PK) reported Thursday that its nine-month group sales increased 3.4 percent to 50.94 billion euros from last year's 49.28 billion euros. Sales grew 2.9 percent organically.

Sales in France - Generation and supply activities amounted to 20.1 billion euros, up 6 percent. Sales in France - Regulated activities, meanwhile, dropped 1.2 percent to 11.44 billion euros.

Looking ahead, the company confirmed its 2019 targets and 2019-2020 ambitions.

For the year, the company continues to expect EBITDA, including IFRS 16 impact, of 16.0 billion euros to 16.7 billion euros.

Total net investments, excluding acquisitions and "Group 2019-2020 disposals", are expected to be about 15 billion euros in 2019 and around 15.5 billion euros in 2020.

Further, the company said that the French State has committed to scrip dividends relating to FY2019 and FY2020.
