Stage Stores Boosts FY19 Outlook - Quick Facts

While reporting financial results for the third quarter on Thursday, retailer Stage Stores Inc. (SSI) raised its guidance for the full-year 2019, based on the outstanding results in the third quarter and strong momentum entering the fourth quarter. For the third quarter, the company also reported comparable sales growth of 17.4 percent.

For fiscal 2019, the company currently projects adjusted loss in a range of $1.40 and $1.25 per share on net sales between $1.64 billion and $1.67 billion, with comparable sales increase of 7 to 9 percent.

Previously, the company expected a loss in the range of $14.20 to $14.45 per share on net sales between $1.56 billion and $1.59 billion, with comparable sales increase of 1 to 3 percent.
