National Grid Submits Business Plans To Ofgem - Quick Facts

National Grid plc (NG.L,NGG) has submitted its final business plans to Ofgem for its UK Electricity and Gas Transmission businesses, as well as the Electricity System Operator, for the 2021-2026 RIIO-2 period. The Electricity Transmission plan has a baseline totex spend of 7.1 billion pounds over the five years. The Gas Transmission plan has a baseline totex spend of 2.8 billion pounds over the period. The company's Electricity Transmission plan assumes connection of 15.3GW of customer capacity.

National Grid intends to engage further with all stakeholders regarding its plans, including through the open forums in March and April 2020, ahead of initial determinations from Ofgem in summer 2020, and final determinations in late 2020.

American Airlines Group has extended its offer to waive change fees for customers who purchase travel tickets through April 30, in response to lower travel demand due to the coronavirus or COVID-19 pandemic. The offer is available for any of American Airlines' published non-refundable fares. The airline had earlier waived change fees for customers who purchased tickets through April 15.
