Xmas Albums By Mariah, Michael Bublé, Pentatonix Reach Billboard 200 Top 10

Christmas albums by Mariah Carey, Michael Bublé and Pentatonix have all reached the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart.

Carey's 1994 Merry Christmas returned to the 200 chart's top 10, as it rose from 21st position to 9th in the latest tally.

The album earned 37,000 equivalent units in the U.S. in the week ending December 5, up 63%, according to Nielsen Music. Of that sum, 26,000 are in SEA units, 8,000 comprise album sales and 1,000 are in TEA units.

Merry Christmas has sold 5.7 million copies in the U.S., making it the third-largest selling holiday album.

Bublé's Christmas climbed from 17th position to 6th on the latest tally. The album, first released in 2011, topped the chart that year and has returned to the top 10 in every holiday season since then.

Meanwhile, Pentatonix earned its 10th top 10 album on the 200 chart, as its latest album, The Best of Pentatonix Christmas, rose from 18th position to 8th in its sixth week on the chart. The compilation album was released via RCA Records on October 25.
