Air France-KLM Launches Tender Offer To Repurchase Three Series Of Notes

Air France KLM (AFRAF.PK) launched a tender offer to repurchase three series of existing notes in cash. The tender offer is conditional upon the settlement of a new issue of senior fixed rate benchmark notes. The company said its tender offer, combined with the new issue of senior notes, will help to lower the overall cost of debt and extend its maturity profile.

The three series of existing notes, to be repurchased, are: 600 million euros 3.875 percent notes due 18 June 2021; 400 million euros 3.750 percent notes due 12 October 2022; and 600 million euros 6.250 percent undated notes.

Boeing Co., which is struggling to relaunch its grounded 737 MAX jets to service, has been hit with a new potential safety concern. The planemaker found debris in the fuel tanks of several undelivered 737 MAX jetliners, multiple reports said citing an internal memo. The Foreign Object Debris were found during maintenance work on an undisclosed number of jets parked at various facilities. Tesla has been ordered to stop work at the site of its proposed $4-billion Gigafactory in the German state of Brandenburg due to environmental concerns, according to reports. The proposed factory was going to be Tesla's first Gigafactory in Europe and its fourth in the world. On Saturday, a German court reportedly ordered the company to stop cutting down trees on the 300-hectare site. Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) on Tuesday inked an agreement with bankrupt diary company Dean Foods Co. to become the Stalking Horse Bidder, in a court-supervised sale process, to acquire a substantial portion of Dean's assets and business. While filing for bankruptcy in November last year, Dean Foods had said it was in advanced discussions with the farmer-owned Cooperative.
