Slipknot has dropped a bizarre short film featuring the song "Nero Forte" from their 2019 album, We Are Not Your Kind.

Titled "Pollution," the 20-minute-video showcases all manner of strange clips, including a peek into the secret life of bugs, in which spiders battle each other and other insects make love to one another.

With the song kicking in at the 8-minute mark, the video also stars a parade of percussionists who play neon pink drums, as humanoids struggle to emerge from slimy egg sacs.

On an Instagram post, drummer/director Shawn Crahan shared that he "set out to make a short film that makes you question your own existence, here in this reality."

"When you lay down in your bed, next to the one you love, do you ever ask yourself -- is it possible that this person could slit my throat while I'm sleeping?" he added. "Enjoy. Pollution is everywhere."
