R.E.M. are planning to take legal action over President Donald Trump's unauthorized use of their songs at his campaign rallies.

Trump reportedly played the rock band's hit songs "Everybody Hurts" and "Losing My Religion" at his election rally in Milwaukee on Tuesday.

"We are aware that the President* @realDonaldTrump continues to use our music at his rallies," R.E.M. bassist Mike Mills said on Twitter. "We are exploring all legal avenues to prevent this, but if that's not possible please know that we do not condone the use of our music by this fraud and con man."

Mills last week called Trump an "Adderall-deranged idiot" for renting U.S. troops out as mercenaries.

R.E.M. had previously criticized Trump's use of their music at his political gatherings.

Twitter deleted a Trump video featuring "Everybody Hurts" mocking his Democratic rivals last February.
