Shares of brewing company Anheuser-Busch InBev SA/NV (BUD) are currently trading at $76.02, down 24 cents or 0.31%, lingering close to a 52-week low of $73.57 recorded on February 22, 2019. At current levels, the stock is lower by more than 25% from its 52-week high of $102.70 reached on July 25, 2019.

Recent Happenings:

On Dec. 12, Australia's competition regulator raised concerns over Asahi Group Holdings Ltd's proposed $11 billion acquisition of Carlton & United Breweries from Anheuser-Busch InBev. The ACCC said that it has preliminary concerns that Asahi's proposed acquisition of Carlton & United Breweries may reduce competition in the market for cider, as well as in the beer market.

On Nov. 11, Anheuser-Busch InBev SA announced its plans to buy the remaining Craft Brew Alliance's shares it does not already own for $16.50 per share in cash. Anheuser-Busch previously held 31.2% stake in the Craft Brew Alliance.
