Miley Cyrus teamed up with Doors guitarist Robby Krieger on Saturday night to perform a cover of the band's classic "Roadhouse Blues."

Cyrus made an unannounced appearance at an event at Hollywood's Sunset Marquis Hotel celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Door's Morrison Hotel.

In addition to Cyrus and Krieger, the cover of "Roadhouse Blues" also featured the Tangiers Blues Band and guitarist and producer Andrew Watt.

The all-star jam also included performances by Michael Bolton, Gary Clark Jr., The Struts, Nicole Atkins and Dennis Quaid.

Ahead of the event Krieger talked with Billboard about the recent upswing in popularity the Doors have experience among other popular artists.

"In the last five years or so, it seems like more and more people, more and more stars, popular artists, want to do the Doors stuff, so it's been pretty cool," Krieger said.

He added, "Just people you wouldn't think would be into the Doors. I love it. Like Miley Cyrus, I never put that one together."
