Blake Shelton has teamed up with country legend John Anderson for a new duet, "Tuesday I'll Be Gone," a song from Anderson's upcoming new album, Years, scheduled to be released on April 10.

The two were in the studio to film the video for the track, which is acoustic-based and juxtaposed with electric slide guitar leads and a mid-tempo beat, resembling old time country-rock arrangements from the Eagles. It however, has some extra texture with a few fiddle licks.

Anderson begins the song, after which Shelton joins in, and then they both sing in harmony for the chorus.

"Take a ride down a road out in the country and drive the long way around," sings Shelton, and Anderson adds, "It don't matter which way or what direction, long as I am freedom bound."

"Tuesday I'll be gone / It's time for moving on / My road to happiness / It might be long / But Tuesday I'll be gone," they sing in the chorus.

Dan Auerbach co-produced the album with David "Fergie" Ferguson, and co-wrote the songs with Anderson.

Anderson will be joining Shelton on his Friends and Heroes Tour that will also feature Lauren Alaina, the Bellamy Brothers and Trace Adkins.
