Country crooner Sam Hunt has dropped an all-new single, "Hard To Forget," that samples a song by honky-tonk star Webb Pierce.

Co-written by Hunt, Luke Laird, Shane McAnally, Josh Osborne, and Ashley Gorley, the song features snippets from the 1953 Pierce track, "There Stands The Glass," which Hunt has masterfully incorporated into the modern, country bop.

The song is taken from Hunt's upcoming sophomore album, Southside, which is the follow-up to his debut collection, Montevallo, released in 2014.

He has since dropped two singles, "Body Like a Back Road" and "Downtown's Dead," neither of which will be included in the new record.

Southside is slated to be released on April 3, 2020, and will be taken across the country on the "Southside Summer" tour set to kick off on March 28 in Charlotte, N.C.

Including north of 40 dates, the tour will also feature guest acts Kip Moore, Travis Denning and Ernest on select dates.
