Morrissey, Bauhaus and Blondie are set to headline a new one-day festival, Cruel World, scheduled to take place on May 2 at the Grounds at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.

The event is managed by festival giant Goldenvoice, which conducts several events, including Coachella, Stagecoach, and Hangout, among others.

According to the Cruel World website, the lineup consists a slew of other stars from across several genres of music from the 1980s onwards.

Echo and the Bunnymen, Psychedelic Furs, Violent Femmes, English Beat, The Church, Public Image Ltd., Gary Numan, Berlin, Marc Almond, She Wants Revenge, and Cold Cave are among the acts scheduled to perform at the festival.

For Bauhaus, the performance at Cruel World will mark their second reunion tour after their first trek in 13 years in 2019. Later this year, the band has festival dates and headlining gigs around the world.

Morrissey is set to release his new album, I am Not a Dog on a Chain, on March 20. Cruel World is his only U.S. live date scheduled for this year.
