Roddy Ricch's "The Box" stays atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart for a tenth successive week, becoming the first song to reign thus long since Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road," featuring Billy Ray Cyrus reigned for a record 19 weeks last year.
Overall, "The Box" is the 39th song to rule the Hot 100 for at least 10 weeks, in the chart's history that dates back to 1958. Out of this total, 37 have led since 1992, after the chart adopted its electronically-tracked Nielsen Music/MRC Data-based methodology in late 1991.
On the Streaming Songs chart, "The Box" has posted its 11th week at No. 1, despite seeing an 8% drop in U.S. streams at 45.1 million, in the week ending March 12.
On the Digital Song Sales, the song has dipped 7-9 after a 12% drop in sales in the tracking week, while slipping 8-10 on Radio Songs despite a 3% increase in all-format airplay audience impressions to 65.6 million in the week ending March 15.
"The Box" concurrently leads the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts, which employ the same multi-metric formula as the Hot 100, for an 11th week each.
Dua Lipa's "Don't Start Now" is at No. 2 on the Hot 100 list dated March 21.
Future's "Life Is Good," featuring Drake, is at No. 3 on the list, after spending its first eight weeks at No. 2.
The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights" has risen to No. 4 from No. 7, giving the singer his eighth top five hit, while Post Malone's "Circles," which spent three nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1, is at No. 5, slipping from No. 4.
