Miranda Lambert's Australian Tour Dates Canceled Due To Coronavirus

Miranda Lambert's Australian tour dates have been canceled after the Australian government announced a suspension on public gatherings as a measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

Beginning on Monday, Australians won't be allowed to gather in groups of 500 or more.

"Australia, As you may have already heard, the Australian government has put restriction in place, banning gatherings of more than 500 people. I'm so sad that we won't be able to play some country music for y'all! I'll be thinking of you and hope that you stay safe and healthy," Lambert posted on Instagram.

The shows that are canceled are March 22 in Willowbank, Queensland; March 24 in Sydney; and March 26 in Melbourne.

Other country stars that have postponed their tours due to Covid-19 include Dan + Shay, Chris Stapleton, Blake Shelton, Reba McEntire, Jason Aldean, Kane Brown and Kenny Chesney.
