"Saturday Night Live" has suspended the production of its next three shows due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The NBC series was scheduled to return from a break on March 28 but will not resume production until further notice, the network announced.

Dua Lipa was set to return to "Saturday Night Live" as musical guest on the March 28 episode, which was set to be hosted by A Quiet Place Part II director and movie star John Krasinski.

In New York, where SNL shows are shot, New York Mayor Bill de Blasio has ordered all movie theaters, nightclubs and concert venues to close by Tuesday, March 17.

Meanwhile Lipa's upcoming second studio album, Future Nostalgia, is set to arrive on April 3 via Warner Records. She recently dropped a music video for the latest single from the album, "Physical." She made her very first appearance on "SNL" in 2018.
