NewRiver REIT Reports Impact Of COVID-19 - Quick Facts

NewRiver REIT plc (NRR.L) stated that the company is confident that it will remain compliant with its financial covenants for the next 12 months. The company has no bank or refinancing events until August 2023.

The Group said it is currently working with its insurance brokers and insurers to make a claim for the business disruption caused by COVID-19 and for loss of rent.

To protect against the possibility that market conditions remain challenging for the next 18 months or more, the company is working with its advisors to apply for the Covid Corporate Financing Facility programme.

NewRiver's community pub business, Hawthorn Leisure, has closed all its sites with immediate effect.

The FDA is focused on two investigational therapies derived from human blood called convalescent plasma and hyperimmune globulin, which are antibody-rich blood products made from blood donated by people who have recovered. Gilead Sciences Inc. said it is donating its existing supply of 1.5 million individual doses of remdesivir, its investigational medicine for coronavirus or Covid-19. The drug, which is yet to get regulatory approval, is available for compassionate use, expanded access and clinical trials to treat patients with the most severe symptoms of COVID-19.
