Punk Rock bands Bad Religion and Alkaline Trio have canceled their previously rescheduled co-headlining tour.

Originally slated to kick off on March 26, the tour was initially postponed to the fall of 2020, and Bad Religion frontman Greg Graffin announced they were excited to celebrate the band's 40th anniversary alongside the Alkaline Trio, albeit delayed by a few months.

As the severity and spread of COVID-19 have since worsened across the globe, the bands have now decided to scrap all plans for 2020 and refund the tickets at the point of purchase.

"...to maintain the health of our fans, crew, and ourselves, Bad Religion will not be playing any shows in 2020," they announced. "You may claim refunds or vouchers depending on the market; please check in with your local promoter and point of purchase."
