Fiona Apple has broken the record for most time between entries on Billboard's Adult Alternative Songs airplay chart with her latest single, "Shameika."
"Shameika" is the lead single from Apple's new album Fetch the Bolt Cutters. The track debuted at No. 24 on the Adult Alternative Songs airplay list dated May 9. "Shameika" becomes Apple's first Adult Alternative Songs hit in two decades.
The last time Apple featured on a Billboard airplay chart was in February 12, 2000, when "Fast as You Can" spent its last week on Adult Alternative Songs.
