Stock Alert: Mmtec Soars 106% On Annual Results

Shares of Mmtec, Inc. (MTC) more than doubled on Tuesday morning driven largely by the Chinese tech company's full-year financial reports.

MTC is currently trading at $2.27, up $1.17 or 106.36%, on the Nasdaq.

Mmtec reported a loss of $2.24 million or $0.11 per share for 2019, compared with last year's loss of $2.35 million or $0.06 per share.

Mmtec's revenue soared 647% to $200,797 in 2019 from $26,882 in 2018, driven largely the revenue of the original market data service business and the addition of the IR business, as well as the acquisition of MMBD Trading brings increased commission income.

Nearly 3,000 Walmart stores in 39 U.S. states are now offering customers receiving SNAP benefits through their Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card to complete payments using the EBT card.
