Billie Eilish has officially released a short film protesting body shaming that the alt-pop star previously shared during a performance at the American Airlines Arena in Miami back in March.

The short film, titled Not My Responsibility, was previously only available via a fan-shot video from the Miami show but has now been shared on Eilish's Instagram and YouTube.

In the film, Eilish speaks candidly about the judgment she faces from the public about the way she dresses as strips off her usual baggy clothes before disappearing in a pool of inky black liquid.

"If I wear what is comfortable, I am not a woman," Eilish says in the film. "If I shed the layers, I'm a slut. Though you've never seen my body, you still judge it and judge me for it. Why?"

"We make assumptions about people based on their size. We decide who they are, we decide what they're worth," she continues. "If I wear more, if I wear less, who decides what that makes me? What that means? Is my value based only on your perception? Or is your opinion of me not my responsibility?"
