Grey Daze have shared a video for "B12," featuring the late Chester Bennington and cameos from Korn guitarists Brian "Head" Welch and James "Munky" Shaffer.
The visuals premiered last weekend to kick off Download TV, a virtual edition of the U.K.'s biggest metal festival Download designed to take the place of 2020's cancelled edition.
Bennington, who formed Grey Daze, left the band in 1998, but reunited later and stayed with the group till his death in 2017.
The video begins with the statement, "In 2017, Grey Daze decided to reunite and record another album. Two months prior to their first show in 20 years, Chester tragically took his life. After a period of mourning, Grey Daze decided to finish the record in Chester's memory."
The "B12" video features several photos and videos of Bennington from throughout the years.
Speaking about Bennington's vocals on the song, Head says, "The range, the power, the melody, and the flow… it sounds like he's Chester in his prime."
The video also includes various visual representations of issues happening worldwide, from homelessness to war, the Black Lives Matter movement, fossil fuels and more.
"Everything we've done surrounding the upcoming release of 'Amends' has been to honour Chester," said Grey Daze co-founder and drummer Sean Dowdell.
"The video for 'B12' is no exception," he added. "We wanted to celebrate all that has been accomplished in seeing Amends, a release he had wanted to bring to life, and in this video we not only brought his lyrics to life, we also were able to feel his presence as we performed alongside his vocal track."
The song is the latest single from the band's upcoming Jay Baumgardner-produced album, Amends, scheduled to be out on June 26 via Loma Vista Recordings. Welch and Shaffer have played a part in the album.
The record will feature newly-recorded music accompanied by remastered takes of Bennington's vocals from the band's back catalogue.
The band recently released "Soul Song," accompanied by a video directed by Bennington's son Jaime. Earlier, they shared "What's In The Eye," "Sickness" and "Sometimes."
