Entoura Buys Hemp Biotech Firm Atalo Holdings

Hemp oil producer AVF CBD, LLC, d/b/a Entoura said it has acquired Atalo Holdings, a Kentucky-based agriculture and biotechnology company engaged in the research and production of industrial hemp. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Entoura noted that the acquisition of Atalo Holdings will boost its supply chain and enable it to expand its hemp-based product offerings. Entoura is a USDA certified organic and cGMP-certified hemp oil producer.

Atalo Holdings has a history in hemp cultivation and genetics that dates back to the 1800s. According to Entoura, Atalo Holdings' production of farmer focused food-grade hemp products will augment its supply chain.

Entoura plans to leverage Atalo's existing brands and product scope to bolster its product suite and also to offer private label services, including industrial hemp genetics, flower and hemp oil extraction.

Entoura plans to integrate its genetics and distillation capability with Atalo's hemp seed oil for integrated and differentiated product development.

"Entoura is committed to sustainable and trustworthy products that leverage the benefits of the renowned hemp plant. Bringing Atalo onboard, with its rich history of innovation in hemp, brings us closer to achieving that goal," said Kevin Murray, founder and CEO of Entoura.
