Beyoncé Ties Michael Jackson's Record For Top 40 Hits

Beyoncé has tied King of Pop Michael Jackson's personal record of 40 Top 40 hits after her "Black Parade" debuted at No. 37 on the Billboard Hot 100.

"Black Parade" topped the Digital Song Sales chart with 18,000 downloads sold in the week ending June 25, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

"Black Parade" earned 7.8 million U.S. streams in the week ending June 25, while recording 4.4 million impressions in all-format audience on Radio play chart. The track also debuted at No. 18 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

Beyoncé earned her first top 40 through a featured turn on Jay-Z's "'03 Bonnie and Clyde," which peaked at No. 6 in 2002. Seven of her singles have topped the chart, including this year's guest turn on Megan Thee Stallion's "Savage."

Drake has the record for the most top 40 hits among all acts with 111, while Taylor Swift leads among women with 63.
