The Killers Reveal Album Release Date, Share 'My Own Soul's Warning' Video

The Killers took to Instagram on Thursday (July 16) to announce that their sixth studio album, Imploding the Mirage will be out on August 21 and also shared a new music video for "My Own Soul's Warning."

"COVID-19 monkey wrenched us. But we preserved. Folks, mark your calendars," the Brandon Flowers-led band captioned their post.

The record, originally scheduled for a May 29 release, was co-produced with Shawn Everett and Jonathan Rado of Foxygen. It will feature previously released singles "Caution" and "Fire in Bone," in addition to "My Own Soul's Warning."

The album was recorded in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Park City, Utah.
Lindsey Buckingham, kd lang, Weyes Blood, Adam Granuciel, Blake Mills and Lucius are among the acts featured on Imploding the Mirage.

The Killers have also confirmed the postponement of their remaining 2020 tour dates due to the coronavirus.
