Willie Nelson Recalls Getting 'Too High' To Perform

Country icon Willie Nelson recently shared a story about an incident when he got "too high" to perform.

During an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," Nelson talked about marijuana with guest host George Lopez. He also performed his song, "I Never Cared for You."

Lopez discussed with the singer his love for cannabis and the medical and recreational benefits of its use.

The country superstar recalled that he once smoked too much marijuana before a show. He said that he had to go on stage and apologize to the crowd for not being able to perform that night.

"I came back about a month later and said, 'I think I remember being here before,'" Nelson recounted.

Accompanied by his his two sons Micah and Lukas, the country legend performed "I Never Cared for You."

Nelson dropped his 70th studio album First Rose of Spring on July 3.
