Taylor Swift shared a music video for "Cardigan," a song featured on her 16-track eighth studio album, Folklore, on Friday (July 24).

"The entire shoot was overseen by a medical inspector, everyone wore masks, stayed away from each other, and I even did my own hair, makeup, and styling," Swift wrote while announcing the clip.

Swift said she wrote and directed the clip and created it with the help of Rodrigo Prieto, Jil Hardin, Rebecca Skinner, Joe Osbourne, Chancler Haynes, David Lebensfeld, Grant Miller and Ethan Tobman.

The visual begins with Swift sitting in a cabin before a fireplace and clad in just a nightdress, playing her piano. The scene then moves to a forest, where the singer plays atop a waterfall.

The "magic" in her piano then takes her to another world where she comes across a turbulent ocean before pulling herself back to safety on locating her piano.

She finally feels safe and home after wrapping herself with an old oversized worn cardigan that was found on the piano's stool.

The visual ends with Swift thanking the medics and the coronavirus compliance personnel for helping the crew during the filming of the video.
