Stock Alert: Fiverr International Gains 16%

Fiverr International Ltd. (FVRR) shares are rising more than 16 percent on Wednesday morning trade as it reported a narrower net loss for the second quarter supported by nearly double the revenues from the prior year. The results beat analysts' estimates.

The shares of the worldwide online marketplace provider have been maintaining momentum for the last several months triggered by the challenging coronavirus pandemic that boosted e-commerce. FVFR is currently at $121.25, up 16.34 percent from its previous close of $104.22.

For the second quarter, the company posted net loss of $124 thousand compared to net loss of $9.35 million in the prior year. On a per-share basis, earnings were $0.10 per share, compared to the loss of $0.19

Revenue grew 82 percent to $47.13 million from $25.92 million in the previous year.
Street analysts were looking for earnings of $0.06 per share on revenue of $36.54 million.
